This story picks up with a young-at-heart, middle aged man who has fallen madly in love, rapidly setting off a chain of events such as selling his business, moving to another state, building a house, planning a wedding, sending two kids to college and not really knowing what his future is going to be like. Add in a quirky digestive system, love for art and culture, and a bit of pre-retirement blues and you pretty much have an outline of the guy that created Sapori Stationery.

Designing comes easy to me as I am inspired by the use of color, pattern and positive messaging sourced from art, travel and fashion. Applying that to stationery and greeting cards is a different story. There are a lot of ins-and-outs to maneuver in this industry. One of the greatest things I have learned is that the value of the written note wins out over the misperception that people don’t write anymore. They do… and they are doing it more and more.

I have been mentored by some of the best in the industry, seeking guidance from professionals in New York and Los Angelos, and I feel that Sapori Stationery has created a range of collections that inspire people to want to write their family, friends, and business acquaintances, with respect, love and gratitude.

Every Sapori collection has its own unique story, this is about how it all began.
